SECOND NOTICE OF ELECTIONS & PROCEDURES
The Election Committee met on Saturday, May 6th, 2023, to accept and certify nomination petitions for the Local 26 Executive Board election. In accordance with Local 26 Constitution and Bylaws, Section 11.5, C (Election Procedures) (4) “If only one candidate is nominated for a given office, that candidate shall be declared elected without further procedures.” Therefore:
An election of ONLY Commercial Cleaning* delegates will be held at SEIU Local 26 on Saturday, July 8th, 2023.
The following nominations have been verified and accepted by the 2023 Election Committee:

VOTING INSTRUCTIONS
The election will be held for only COMMERCIAL CLEANING DELEGATES. The vote will be by secret ballot. Proxy voting, mail ballots, and write-in candidates are not permitted. The polling location will be SEIU Local Union Hall 826 18th Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418 with polls open from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Members may be asked to present a Local 26 membership card, check stub, or other form of identification at the polls. Only Commercial Cleaning with dues paid through June, 2023, will be allowed to vote.

El Comité Electoral se reunió el sábado 6 de mayo de 2023 para aceptar y certificar las peticiones de nominación para la elección de la Mesa Ejecutiva Local 26. De acuerdo con la Constitución y los Estatutos del Local 26, Sección 11.5, C (Procedimientos electorales) (4) "Si solo un candidato es nominado para un cargo determinado, ese candidato será declarado elegido sin más procedimientos". Por lo tanto:
Una elección de delegados SOLAMENTE de la Division de Limpieza * se llevará a cabo en SEIU Local 26 el sábado 8 de julio , 2023.

INSTRUCCIONES DE VOTACIÓN
La elección se llevará a cabo solo para DELEGADOS DE LIMPIEZA COMERCIAL. La votación será secreta. No se permite el voto por poder, las boletas por correo y los candidatos por escrito. El lugar de votación será SEIU Local Union Hall 826 18th Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418 con urnas abiertas de 8:00 a.m. a 8:00 p.m. Se les puede pedir a los miembros que presenten una tarjeta de membresía del Local 26, talón de cheque u otra forma de identificación en las urnas. Solo la limpieza comercial con cuotas pagadas hasta junio de 2023 podrá votar.
